Creating lasting impact through education, protection, media, and community engagement across refugee and host communities in Kenya.

Teach Well Programme (2023–2028)

FilmAid Kenya leads community engagement in the IRC-led Teach Well Programme, using multimedia campaigns, community dialogue, and feedback to improve education, child protection, and wellbeing for refugee and host communities in Turkana and Garissa.

ECHO Integrated Protection Consortium (2025–2027)

FilmAid Kenya strengthens refugee protection through community engagement, surveys, focus group discussions, and feedback systems that improve accountability, service access, and evidence-based humanitarian response.

UNICEF Prospects 2.0

FilmAid Kenya empowers refugee and host community youth in Kakuma and Dadaab through media skills training and entrepreneurship, preparing them for employment, self-reliance, and careers in the creative industries.

Porticus Programme

FilmAid Kenya strengthens social cohesion, youth engagement, and community resilience through participatory communication, multimedia storytelling, and community dialogue that promote inclusion and positive social change in refugee and host communities.

World Food Programme (WFP) Community Engagement

FilmAid Kenya partners with WFP to strengthen community engagement through outreach, multimedia communication, feedback systems, and consultations, ensuring refugees receive accurate information while improving accountability, transparency, and trust.
